Group Classes
A group class is a great way to check out FEMM and see if it could be a good fit for you before committing to private instruction, or simply to enjoy learning alongside other women.
Cycle Charting Basics workshops are just that – an introduction on how to chart your cycles. In the Basics workshop, you will get an in depth look at the rise and fall of hormones throughout the ovulation cycle and instruction on how to identify the biomarkers of your own hormonal activity. You will have everything you need to start charting the same day!
teenFEMM classes are not sex education or family planning classes. teenFEMM classes are health-focused and teach teen girls how to understand their ovulation cycles as a vital sign of their health and how to navigate the changes they are experiencing in their bodies in a healthy and informed manner. When girls learn to read what their cycles tell them, they can improve their experiences with periods, understand the connection between physical health and mental health, seek early intervention for conditions like PCOS, endometriosis, and thyroid dysfunction, and protect their future fertility if they wish to have children someday.
Classes are taught with the assumption that the student has had a basic sex education. Content may be adjusted somewhat for younger (12-14) vs older (15-17) groups of students. Parents are always welcome to contact me with questions about content prior to registering their daughter for any teenFEMM class.
I also offer an option for homeschoolers to take either the Cycle Camp or Crash Course programs for a health class credit when students sign up for teenFEMM Cycle Coaching. In addition to attending the class, they would commit to charting their cycles for a full semester and schedule monthly private follow ups to discuss their charting, cycle patterns, and women’s health topics.
